Accessibility is at the heart of PEAU’s framework, not only through treatments, but in the way we share knowledge.

Trans people of colour continue to face some of the most significant intersectional barriers in beauty spaces, which is why reframing skincare as healthcare matters so deeply. It’s always more than just skincare. It’s about safety, innovation, and indulging in the nowness of being seen and cared for.

In addition to hands-on treatments, givePEAU also serves as an educational platform, sharing research and raising awareness about how beauty and wellness are deeply political. Additionally, PEAU’ésie honours the incredible Black aestheticians and dermatologists, especially those outside of Canada, who have long led this work with deep care and intention. This commitment is to continue carrying this mission forward beyond Quebec, inspired by their leadership and guided by their greatness.

From day one, PEAU’ésie has been rooted in the existence of increasing visibility around barriers many people face in accessing care in the beauty industry. Responding to this inequality holds a candle close to accountability, privilege, tangible action and empathy.

There are facts and realities that make givePEAU vital, not just for trans people of colour, but for anyone impacted by the systemic gaps in receiving beauty care. As it grows, it will continue to expand its reach, offering support and care to marginalized communities more broadly.

  • Registration for Phase 1 of givePEAU will be open to trans individuals of colour seeking nurturing and gender-affirming care through facial treatments. As givePEAU grows, it will expand to serve marginalized communities more broadly.

    Eligibility

    • If you're under 18, you may still register, but a guardian's signed consent form is required before your appointment.

    • You identify as a transgender person of colour or as part of a non-cisgender identity.

  • Registration for Phase 1 of givePEAU will include, but not limited to, complimentary signature facials for all skin types, dermaplaning for exfoliation and hair removal, post–top surgery scar care, Celluma® LED Light Therapy, and eyebrow shaping.

    You’ll be able to select from the following care-forward treatments:

    • DREAMLAND or SKIN POETRY (Signature + Custom) 35 or 60 minute Facial

    • LULLABY (Sensorial + Barrier Protection)

    • KOUKLA (Acne + Hyperpigmentation)

    • ANGEL (Chemical Peel)

    • MICRODERMABRASION with or without Celluma® LED Light Therapy

    • THE DEPTHS (Pore Care, Decongestion + Anti-pollution)

    • DERMAPLANING + Celluma® LED

    • Celluma® LED Light Therapy

    • WAX SHAPING (Cleanse, Shape + Style)

    • Customized treatment and LED Light Therapy for post-mastectomy surgeries

    Add-ons are available at a sliding scale.

    For microneedling particularly, it will be offered at $100 + tax (regularly $275-$340), with priority given to those seeking care for acne scars, texture, or post-surgical healing. This reduced fee covers the microneedling cartridge only and does not reflect the full value of the service, studio time, or care provided.

  • Applications for givePEAU are open during the following dates:

    • May 26 – July 15, 2025

    • September 15 – October 31, 2025

    You may submit one application per application period, and your application will only be considered within the time frame it is received.

    The application process is intentionally simple and fair, with spots allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each application frame will accept 10-20 people.
